Narrative
Three strangers – who live in the same New York apartment building and share an obsession with true crime – suddenly find themselves involved in murder. He is actually a very skilled and talented musician. The viewer found out in the first episode that CHS lived above Oliver, who lived above Mabel with that elevator scene.

BUT the opener has CHS in an apartment on the 7th floor, Oliver on the 8th, Mabel on the 9th — in reverse order and way below the CHS' The actual matching layer in the series. So I just finished watching Only Murders in the Building and I have to say I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. I had no intention of watching at first because it seemed like a show aimed at the over 60s.
I was wrong
After seeing all the great reviews and all the award nominations for both seasons, I finally gave in and watched it. It’s funny who can put on a show like that. It’s about three strangers who all love true crime podcasts and then suddenly find themselves committing their own kind of murder in their own building.
There is something for everyone in the series
These three (Selena Gomez, Steve Martin and Martin Short) begin to piece together clues to find the killer. If you’re looking for a show to just have fun and entertain you, give this one a try. It’s just a fun show that you can enjoy in a few days.
