Having seen Sharon Horgan in the series “Catastrophe”, I respect and admire her writing, comedy and acting so much that I will watch anything she stars in at this point
“Evil Sisters” “It’s a terribly funny, brilliantly written, brilliantly acted, brilliantly directed movie, intelligent and so human – in both the good and the bad, that it stands out immediately. There’s no real violence, no car crashes, no special effects, it’s all very human, the real drama and agony of what some people do to others, lightened by hilarious circumstances and comedy.

the abusive husband of a sister, also known as “The Idiot” to all the sisters, is so wonderfully and diabolically written and acted that I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to watch this actor in anything else again, without hating him for being so cruel in such a mundane role. Two minutes of watching him constantly call his wife “Mom”…
honestly, it’s just disturbing, because he’s so realistic that you want to kill him yourself or make him die
This series works so perfectly on the fine line between comedy, drama and tragedy that I have to give it a 10/10.
