Avril, a young animal rights lawyer, goes to great lengths to save her client, a repeat offender dog, from the death penalty. The dog helps Avril accept her own human complexity. During development, Laetitia Dosch met Justine Triet, who told her she was making Anatomija pada (2023), a film about a trial between a dog and a visually impaired person with a female lead role. . The similarities largely led to the abandonment of the Dosh project.
